Delivering 104 Seniors Christmas Dinners 2023

Through a grant from United Way of Graham and Greenlee Counties, we were able to shop for some of our local seniors who are financially struggling. We delivered 2 large grocery bags of food which included, Ham, Sweet Potatoes, Potatoes, Jellied Cranberries, Eggs, Butter, Sugar, Flour, Cheese, Green Beans, Onions, Apples, and many more grocery items. The complete staff and a couple of volunteers of Our Neighbors Farm and Pantry helped shop, sort, and bag food. We all enjoyed the day delivering the groceries to the very grateful Seniors. I think we smiled more that day and shed tears of joy to see their faces light up receiving their bags of groceries. It’s an honor and pleasure to be a part of Our Neighbors Farm and Pantry and of course the generosity of our sponsors. Giving back to our community is the reason we enjoy our jobs so much.
